Why I started Waterfront
I’m a practical optimist. I’ve always believed that supply chains can shape the world for the better, and that meaningful change starts by getting hands-on and making things work in the real world.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working across India, Asia Pacific, and Europe, helping businesses untangle complexity, fix what’s broken, and rethink how their supply chains run. From messy procurement challenges to designing low-carbon networks, I’ve seen how the right decisions can make supply chains stronger, smarter, and more sustainable.
I’ve worked with global brands and bold challengers, but it’s the people behind them that have stayed with me. The truck drivers I’ve shared tea with in Delhi, the warehouse teams I’ve walked the floor with in the Midlands, and the leadership teams making tough calls under pressure, every one of them has shaped how I work and why this matters.
I started Waterfront because I believe supply chains have the power to do more, not just for profit, but for the planet, for people, and for the communities they touch. When designed well, they can regenerate rather than deplete. They can offer safety, dignity, and opportunity. And they can be a force for long-term resilience.
This isn’t about theory. It’s about doing the hard, hopeful work of building supply chains that are truly fit for the future, for all of us.
If that resonates with you, I’d love to have a conversation.
